This Policy outlines the purchasing and receiving procedures for the Department of Athletics.
The Department of Athletics (“Department”) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (“University” or “UNC”) is committed to providing a harassment-free environment for all student-athletes, coaches, and staff. In furtherance of this objective, the Department has developed this Policy on Harassment.
This Policy is intended to help facilitate transportation and travel such that members of the Department of Athletics can effectively fulfill their job functions while also ensuring the Department remains fiscally responsible and compliant with all applicable laws of the State of North Carolina, NCAA and ACC rules, and institutional policies.
This Policy is intended to supplement the protections afforded to UNC student-athletes by federal law, state law, and University policies. In the event of any perceived conflict between this Policy and any state or federal law, please contact a member of the Department of Athletics Executive Team.
The following procedures are to be used when a student-athlete attending The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks a review of a decision of a financial aid administrator, such as the Associate Vice Provost and Director of Scholarships and Student Aid ("Associate Provost") or designee, on recommendation of the Department of Athletics, related to the reduction, cancellation, or non-renewal of athletically related institutional financial aid.
