The purpose of this constitution is to outline how the Graduate Mathematics Association supports the academic, social, and community needs of UNC‑Chapel Hill mathematics graduate students and to define the organization’s structure, membership, and governing procedures.

This document outlines the Department of Mathematics' standards and procedures for faculty personnel actions, including hiring, reappointment, promotion, and tenure decisions for both tenure-track and fixed-term teaching faculty.
