Policy Statement
All payroll actions for University SHRA employees (subject to the North Carolina Human Resources Personnel Act) will be processed online through ConnectCarolina by a Human Resources Representative as designated by the hiring department or unit. Payroll actions may include, but are not limited to, initial personnel information, funding source changes, and miscellaneous changes to ConnectCarolina HR/Payroll records. All actions should be sent through the proper approval routes before rolling into Payroll Services.
