The purpose of this policy is to define the process for Emergency Protocols and Contacts.

Scope

This policy applies to all Department of Orthopaedics employees.

Policy Statement

Emergency Action Plan

The Executive Assistant will hold a paper copy of the Emergency Action Plan at the Front Desk. Electronic copies of the Emergency Action Plan will be maintained on the Department Shared Network for employee review and training. An electronic copy of the Emergency Action Plan is stored in the university Kuali mission continuity program.  The Associate Chair of Administration, Business Officer, and Executive Assistant maintain the emergency action plan in the Kuali system.

The department will designate the following employees as Emergency Coordinators as of the version date of this policy:

  • Executive Assistant: Abigail Noschese
  • Business Officer: Cindy Clore
  • Associate Chair of Administration: Paul Marini

The Emergency Action Plan will be updated anytime there is a change in personnel or at least annually by the Emergency Coordinators.
